Unije

Unije is the largest island situated close to Lošinj. Because of its good geographical position (at the entrance to the Kvarner Bay), several fresh water sources and fertile land, the Island of Unije was populated throughout all historical periods. The north and east sides of the island are mostly rocky, covered with evergreen and oaks trees, while the south and west sides form a bay.

If you walk along its inner parts you will be astonished by olive groves whose branches are as old as the island itself.
