Susak
The island of Susak is a small island situated in the North Adriatic Sea. It is famous for its sandy beaches, wine, rich culture and tradition. Its lush vineyards produce the best wine in the region. The dialect used by the local people is so specific that the residents of the neighboring islands cannot understand them.
We can say that Susak is a little wonder. Because of its special shape and vegetation, it is considered nature’s little wonder. The surface of the island is covered with sand dating back probably from Aeolian time. The island itself has no roads or cars, the paths are mainly dusty, they cascade through the grassy countryside leading to beautiful sandy bays.
While, during the summer season, Susak might be full of tourists, out of season you will find a relatively small number of local residents.
It doesn’t matter whether you are coming with friends or family, make sure you take your yacht (sailing yacht, catamaran, motor boat or gulet) to visit the island of Susak and discover the beauty of the Adriatic Sea with Lighthouse Yacht Charter Croatia.
