Olib
The Island of Olib lies close to the island of Silba (some 2 miles E of it) and NE of the island of Molat. It is a traffic free island and it has a long history. Since it did not have any natural water sources the residents used to collect it in water tanks. Since the construction of the underwater pipeline, Olib now has this precious resource. The main activities on the island are fishing, tourism, and production of olive oil, wine, and cheese.
If you are coming to the island of Olib by yacht (sailing yacht, catamaran, motor boat or gulet) you will be able to moore on the ferry jetty on the W side of the island (main harbor of Olib Port) or you will be able to drop your anchor in the bay of St. Nikola Port on the SW coast of the island.
It doesn’t matter whether you are coming with friends or family, make sure you take your yacht (sailing yacht, catamaran, motor boat or gulet) to visit the island of Olib and discover the beauty of the Adriatic Sea with Lighthouse Yacht Charter Croatia.
