Elafiti islands (Sipan, Lopud,...)
The Elafiti Islands are situated NW of the city of Dubrovnik. Six islands make up this archipelago, but three of them are the main ones to visit – Kolocep, Lopud, and Sipan. The first two are totally car-free zones which means that you will be free to relax and enjoy your vacation without the hustle and bustle of usual traffic during the summer season. The rest of the islands in the archipelago are Daksa, St. Andrew, Ruda, Misnjak, Jakljan (recreation and leisure center for children), Kosmec, Golec, Crkvine, Tajan, and Olipa.
The archipelago got its name from the Greek word ELAFOS which means deer, and apparently, in ancient times, the islands hosted a large deer population.
All of the islands in the archipelago have one thing in common and that is their exceptional beauty. No matter, if you are coming with kids for a stress-free holiday, or on a romantic trip, you will find everything you need here. From peaceful, car-free zones to beautiful romantic sunsets. You can enjoy them all from the privacy of your yacht (sailing yacht, catamaran, motor boat or gulet).
It doesn’t matter whether you are coming with friends or family, make sure you take your yacht (sailing yacht, catamaran, motor boat or gulet) to visit the Elafiti islands and discover the beauty of the Adriatic Sea with Lighthouse Yacht Charter Croatia.
